Eddie Conroy, County Architect for South Dublin County Council, is a co-author of the recently launched Design Manual for Urban Roads and Streets (DMURS) . Eddie, pictured below, will speak on the exciting design potential and basic philosophy behind this new national guidance document. DMURS aims to ‘put well designed streets at the heart of sustainable communities’ and promote cycling, walking and public transport. Eddie has worked abroad, and in a variety of locations here in Ireland, and has a broad range of experience in all aspects of public realm design.
