Bike Week is an annual celebration and promotion of the benefits of cycling, with hundreds of family friendly events including heritage cycles, maintenance workshops, and learn-to-cycle courses taking place across the country. All 31 local authority areas are involved in Bike Week with events being organised jointly through the local authorities and local sports partnerships. This year it runs from Saturday 9 to Sunday 17 May.
