Biodiversity Week Hedgerows Cycle 2026
Celebrate National Biodiversity Week by exploring some of Dublin 6w’s hedgerows. Organised by Dublin Cycling Campaign (a local group of Irish Cycling Campaign) in association with Hedgerows Ireland, and funded by the Irish Environmental Network, this event will give participants the chance to learn about hedgerow planting and maintenance and to find out why hedgerows are so important to biodiversity.
This is a gentle, short cycle in parks and on public roads in Dublin 6w. Cyclists of all ages and abilities are welcome, though any children cycling independently must be accompanied by an adult.
Light refreshments will be provided at the end of the event.
The meeting point is the entrance to Bushy Park on Templeogue Road opposite the entrance to Terenure College.
Places are limited; book a spot via Eventbrite via this link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/hedgerows-cycle-2026-tickets-1988705444519?…
