Annual Members' Meeting 2026

Thursday, 12 February 2026 - 7:30pm
Academy Plaza Hotel, Findlater Place, Dublin 1

Dublin Cycling Campaign’s Annual Members’ Meeting of 2026 will take place on Thursday, 12 February at 7.30pm in the Academy Plaza Hotel, Findlater Place, Dublin 1, and we would love to see you there!

1 - What is the Dublin Cycling Campaign Annual Members’ Meeting? The AMM is our most important meeting of the year. We gather to reflect on last year’s activities and look ahead to the next 12 months. Crucially, we elect a new DCC Committee, and it is this Committee that will drive the organisation forward and really make things happen in Dublin in 2026.

2 - Dublin Cycling Campaign - a Local Group of Irish Cycling Campaign We note here – following all of our governance and restructuring work over the last couple of years – that Dublin Cycling Campaign is a Local Group of Irish Cycling Campaign (formerly known as Cyclist.ie). ICC itself has an elected board, and it also has an elected Executive Committee which leads on cycling campaigning at a national level. This all means that the DCC Committee can focus on Dublin issues, with the wider governance of the organisation looked after by the ICC board, while campaigning at a national level is managed by the ICC Executive Committee.

3 - The DCC Committee itself / the Committee positions In creating a refreshed DCC Committee for 2026-2027, we are very keen to hear from DCC members who would like to step forward and help us to raise our campaigning game. We welcome any of our members who are committed to the Campaign’s cause and are willing to get stuck in!

We note here that Dublin Cycling Campaign has four active geographically defined sub-groups covering: the Dublin City area, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown, South Dublin and Fingal. Details of the traffic issues and cycling scheme developments are covered by those four sub-groups. Therefore, our DCC Committee has more of a coordinating role across the county, and it also looks after running our bigger events and our communications across the website and social media.

4 - Putting yourself forward as a candidate for the DCC Committee To do this, you must be a fully paid up member of DCC - and you need to send us a short email (i) telling us a bit about yourself and (ii) explaining why you would like to be on the Committee (and for a particular position, if appropriate). Please send your email to ncc@irishcyclingcampaign.ie by latest 6pm on Monday 9 Feb.

Thank you. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 12 February!
