Annual Members' Meeting 2023

Thursday, 9 November 2023 - 7:30pm
Clayton Hotel Charlemont and online.

Dublin Cycling Campaign’s Annual Members’ Meeting of 2023 will take place on Thursday 9 November at 7.30pm in the Clayton Hotel, Charlemont - just next door to the Barge Pub on the Grand Canal - and we would love to see you there!

The meeting will be in a hybrid format, so you can tune in by Zoom or else in person. If at all possible, we would love to have you there in person so that you can fully enjoy the opportunity to mingle with members and catch up with all of the gang over post-meeting chats and refreshments.

The AMM is our most important meeting of the year - we will gather to reflect on the last year’s activities and look ahead to the next 12 months. Crucially, we will also elect a new DCC Committee - and it is this Committee that will drive the organisation forward and really make things happen over the coming year. Details of the Committee positions can be read here.

Note that this particular form and way of electing the DCC Committee might change next year following the broader governance review/restructuring process that is currently underway (and nearing completion). We will continue to update all Committee members about this process as it advances.

In creating a refreshed DCC Committee for 2023-2024, we are very keen to hear from DCC members who would like to step forward and help us to raise our campaigning game in 2024 - a year which will include the Local and European Elections in May. We are particularly keen to hear from members with expertise and experience in the fundraising and communications domains - but we really welcome anyone who is committed to the Campaign’s cause and is willing to get stuck in!

To put yourself forward as a candidate for the DCC Committee, you must be a fully paid up member of DCC - and you need to send us a short email (i) telling us a bit about yourself and (ii) explaining why you would like to be on the Committee (and for a particular position if appropriate). Please send your email to info@dublincycling.ie by latest 6pm on Monday 06 Nov (extended deadline).

To attend the AMM either in-person or online, please REGISTER HERE by 9pm on Wed 08 Nov (extended deadline). An agenda for the meeting will be issued in advance of the meeting to registered delegates and we look forward to seeing you at the AMM itself.
