Phoenix Park Cycle Path nearly ready

The new cycle path beside the Wellington monument is almost ready. All that is left is to add cycle logos and a painted line down the middle of the green cycle path. The path is bordered by nice cobbles. The road itself is one way heading west to the wellington gate and the cycle lane is bidirectional. Currently there are ballards to prevent cars parking there as it previously was very unsafe for cyclists. Unfortunately the path ends at the roundabout on Chesterfield avenue and joins a broken line cycle lane. Its a big improvement and looking forward to seeing what the OPW does to improve conditions for cycling in the Phoenix park.
